Denmark Danish Energy Policy concerning renewables is carried out by the Danish Energy Authority which presents facts and figures, statistics and information concerning RES, especially wind energy. The utilisation of renewable energy in Denmark is expected to raise to 35% by the year 2030 (235 PJ). This implies an increase in the use of renewables by 1 pct. per year up to 2030. This is binding policy targets for RE gross energy contribution. The important Danish sources of renewable energy are biomass and wind power. Expected utilisation of biomass: 145 PJ by year 2030. The contribution by wind power is forecasted to increase to 60 PJ by 2030.
