Liquid biofuels are liquid renewable energy sources from living things. They are to be distinguished from fossil liquid fuels which are also of biological origin but which are non-renewable. Liquid biofuels are transport fuels, primarily biodiesel and bioethanol/ETBE: two key liquid fuels processed from agricultural crops and other renewable feedstocks.
