Demonstration Projects
Much progress has been
made, through improvements to the design of the systems, better drilling
techniques and mitigation of corrosion and scaling problems, as well as
through the development of treatment systems for discharged water.
THERMIE also encouraged the development of innovative methods or applications
for geothermal energy in district heating, buildings, industry, agriculture
and aquaculture.
